Born Theresa Frances Lentinello, on December 4, 1929, and growing up through the Great Depression as the third child alongside her nine siblings, she radiated resilience, cheerfulness, and gratitude, never dwelling on hardships but always focusing on blessings. She was the heart of our family—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. She devoted 64 years of her life to her loving husband Roy with unconditional love. Strangers would comment on what a beautiful couple they were or how cute they were. Terry and Roy had 3 children - Maria, Charles and Robert. Above all, she was a selfless servant of God, embodying grace and humility in all she did. Her love for her family was boundless, expressed through her nurturing spirit, impeccable care, and the incredibly delicious meals she lovingly prepared. Cooking wasn't just a task for her; it was her way of showing love, making people feel valued and cherished with every dish she served. Her home was a haven of warmth and laughter, always impeccably neat (you could eat off the floors!), and filled with the sounds of her cheerful voice, famously reminiscent of Edith Bunker. She greeted everyone like an old friend, her genuine love for people shining through in every interaction. Her sense of humor, often unintentional, brought joy and hearty laughter to those around her. A woman of unwavering faith, she served God in every aspect of her life, teaching us the values of gratitude, service, and unconditional love. Even as a child, she cared for her family, cooking, cleaning, and tending to the needs of others with tireless energy. She extended that care throughout her life, always the first to help in times of sickness or need. She never asked for anything for herself, always putting others first with fierce loyalty and an unshakable faith that inspired everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts she touched, the lives she nurtured, and the countless memories filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of her presence. We celebrate her life with gratitude for the time we had with her, and we find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of the Lord she so faithfully served.
