Mr. Gregory Bianco

Gregory Bianco of Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn was born on August 5, 1993. He attended Resurrection School and then St Edmund Elementary. He graduated from Edmund Preparatory High School, where he studied International Baccalaureate classes and Honor History classes. History was one of his passions. Greg attended the spiritual experience of the Emmaus retreat, something that impacted his life. He was a recipient of the Michael Gordon Scholarship and Co-President of his Senior Class. Greg was a member of the Boy Scouts, earning the highest rank of Eagle. An achievement only 1% of scouts attain. Greg loved nature, camping, and had great survival skills. He was a rock collecting fanatic, loved reading books and was an excellent photographer, poet and recently an artist. He loved and respected his family. He loved and had fun playing all kinds of games with his two nephews Jackson and Charlie. He loved and adored his long time girlfriend Bridget. Greg had his very own eclectic style. He was highly intelligent and had big plans for his future. Never had an unkind word for anyone. When he was young, Greg played for the Gerritsen Beach Little League. Played the trumpet in school. And recently started some serious strumming away at his guitars. It may be a surprise but he had a beautiful singing voice. He was a Member of the Knights of Columbus and with his good nature participated in the Sandy Recovery in his community of Gerritsen Beach. Greg fulfilled part of his dreams as a world traveler exploring places such as Ireland, Peru, Ibiza, Italy, Scotland, and England. Gregory died suddenly on November 10, 2022, leaving his family, loved ones, and an overwhelming amount of friends, completely devastated. We are lucky to have had him in our lives for 29 short years. He is now our Angel. Gregory is the Beloved son of Claire and Michael Bianco Cherished Brother of Andrea (Jason) Bogart and Brian Cresci Beloved and Fun Uncle of Jackson and Charlie Soulmate to Bridget McCann whom he loved dearly. Visitation is planned for Thursday November 17 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm Mass is scheduled for Friday November 18 at 10:30 at Resurrection Church.
